A very special visitor came to see us...

We had a very exciting visitor in school yesterday - Perry, the mascot of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, paid us a surprise visit.

We found out a lot about the Commonwealth Games, which are coming to Birmingham and the region at the end of July this year. The children loved meeting Perry, who engaged them with some exercises, a team building activity and general excitement and enthusiasm! Perry left us with a mini-version of himself which will sit in the school hall, hopefully inspiring the children to do their best at all time.

We are fired up now for the Games, and wish all our athletes the best of luck as they train so hard towards the events in July and August.
